My Journey

Children Safety

My name is Jonathan Ho'omanawanui. I am the founder of MTSProservices. Born and raised on Oahu. When I was 5 yrs. I started riding minibikes. I had a RUPP engine pull start minibike and my first race at HRP I was dead last. Just like anything else there's always a beginning. At first it was about having fun. Then it started to become competitive.

As a youngster I held Sponsorship by Yamaha Hawaii Nimitz and also by Al Montgomery Motors Iwilei. Maile Desoto.

At my peak I would enter Five different classes 11-12 class. 13-15 class, Open class, 100cc class and 125cc class at Hawaii Raceway Park. During those years I trained. 5 days a week bench pressing 90lbs, running 5 miles or an hour and ending the day with one small bottle of Miller beer the 8 pack one. My dad use to say "Eat Shit Sleep Motocross."A philosophy that stands true today in any sport.  I turned Pro at young age of 16.

At 61 now I find it even more prevalent to coach mentor and make an impact with our children and the Waianae community. Because so many riders are on the public streets where danger is all around, why not create a Safer and Fun environment. I  coach and teach alongside my common sense and philosophy. "SAFETY."

Organizations:

Ka Mo'i ' O Makaha, Sandy Brodie and Domonico's Kailua were the track sponsors at the time. Somone to remember old timer "Cobra" Desoto as well as Frenchy ran the racing seen while John was away earning his title.

But there was this 13 year old kid who went by the name of Hagi Alexander. To me he was the best at the time. He rode for a mechanic named "Flea" and Cycle City Nimitz.

Needless to say, our Program has a competitive advantage:

We Personalized Coaching: Unlike generic, one-size-fits-all programs, we provide individualized coaching sessions that adapt to each rider’s unique learning needs, pace, and goals. This personalized approach ensures that every participant gains a thorough understanding of safety practices and riding fundamentals.

Community Engagement: Our group workshops are designed not only to teach practical skills, but also to foster a sense of community among riders. By creating a supportive environment, we encourage peer learning, mentorship, and the development of lasting connections that reinforce safe riding habits.

Practical, Hands-On Learning: All of our offerings emphasize experiential learning. From practicing basic maneuvers to performing routine maintenance, our participants gain real-world skills that translate directly to safer, more confident riding.

Accessibility for Underserved Populations: We specifically target low- and medium-income families, ensuring that essential safety education is within reach for those who need it most. Our pricing and service structure are designed to remove barriers to entry and promote equity in access to high-quality instruction.

Expertise in Safety Gear and Maintenance: Our safety gear consultations and maintenance workshops go beyond riding instruction, equipping participants with the knowledge to select appropriate gear and maintain their motorcycles for long-term safety and reliability.

These factors, combined with our deep local knowledge and commitment to the Waianae community, position us as the premier provider of motorcycle and e-bike safety education in the State.

Ultimately, our financial plan is designed to support our mission: making high-quality motorcycle and e-bike safety education accessible to all, while building a sustainable business that can grow alongside the needs of the Waianae community.
